Captain Tsubasa 2: World Fighters ships 22 national teams. Asian Youth-style qualifiers sit on one half of team select; World Youth powerhouses sit on the other. The game launched 27 August 2026 in Japan and 28 August 2026 worldwide, including Steam. Voices stay Japanese.
Japan’s eleven lives on Japan Youth. Club and high-school kits sit on club and school teams. Rank elevens on the team tier list and carries on the character tier list. Return to the Players Hub if you only needed the map.
Asian Youth path
Treat these as the qualifier cluster, even when versus lets you pick them from minute one. Japan is the campaign side: Tsubasa Ozora (captain, MF), Hyuga, Misaki, Wakabayashi, Wakashimazu, Misugi, Matsuyama, Jito, Ishizaki, Nitta, plus newly highlighted Shingo Aoi and Tomeya Akai. The other 21 exist to knock that Golden Combo off its rhythm.
China fields Xiao Junguang, Wang Zhongming, Fei Xiang, and Wu Junren as a compact counter eleven that punishes sloppy Drive spam. Saudi Arabia brings Mark Owairan, Vulcan, and Harris; Super Tackles here stop Japan dribbling through qualifying on auto-pilot. Thailand is a trailer fixture: Singprasert Bunnag, the Khongsawat brothers, and Patara Sunalai. Mark Bunnag with Jito or Matsuyama. Uzbekistan has an official bio for captain Zangiev, a tall forward built to overwhelm; do not invent a supporting ten until team select shows them. South Korea and Indonesia complete the Asian field as confirmed kits without fully named elevens on this page.
World Youth Americas
Brazil is the World Youth mountain and a versus favorite. Confirmed names: Carlos Santana, Natureza, Luciano Leo, Pepe, Alberto, Salinas, Keizinho. Community notes still place Roberto Hongo as Brazil’s coach; treat that as manga continuity, not a printed staff card. Natureza is billed as the other Tsubasa, but pre-launch footage of his Super Shot was limited. Trigger it in a match before you copy a rumor clip. Pre-order editions unlocked Brazil Youth early; after launch everyone can select the kit.
Argentina is Juan Diaz (captain), Alan Pascal, and Galvan. Uruguay is Ryoma Hino and Ramon Victorino, a Japanese-Uruguayan cannon and an aerial threat. Mexico is Ricardo Espadas plus the Aztec sun block of Zaragoza, Garcia, Suarez, Alvez, and Lopez. Espadas is the keeper duel. USA is confirmed; the official site names forward Blake Martin. Canada is also in the 22. Beyond Martin, do not invent a North American starting eleven.
World Youth Europe and Africa
Germany is Karl Heinz Schneider, Deuter Muller, Hermann Kaltz, Franz Schester, and Manfred Margus. Schneider’s Fire-family Super Shots are why Wakabayashi exists. Netherlands is the Orange line led by Cruyfford and classic series names around that genius. Wakabayashi’s official bio even names Kluivoort among the players he wants revenge on.
France is Pierre, Louis Napoleon, and Jaen. Sweden is Stefan Levin, Larson, Fredericks, and Brolin; Levin still plays like a boss fight. Italy is Hernandez and the rest of series Italy youth. Spain and England are in the 22; do not invent a Rooney or Casillas stand-in that Bandai never listed. Cameroon and Senegal are the African World Youth entries. This wiki will not guess full elevens for Spain, England, Cameroon, or Senegal.
How to scout the 22
Play the Asian path as Japan first so China, Thailand, Saudi Arabia, and Uzbekistan teach Super Tackle timing. Then take Brazil, Germany, Argentina, and Sweden into versus and learn their keepers. Club kits on club and school teams are the youth photos: Sao Paulo Youth, Stuttgart Youth, La Boca Youth.
Season Pass DLC adds six characters through August 2027. No national-team DLC names are confirmed. Mark Wave 2 Brazilian-ace lists as rumor. The team tier list will move as people learn Natureza, Schneider, Diaz, and Levin. The 22-team count will not.
