Captain Tsubasa 2: World Fighters is out on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and Steam. Japanese consoles launched on 27 August 2026. Worldwide consoles and Steam launched on 28 August 2026. This page copies the English Steam spec sheet, then adds Switch file sizes, anti-cheat cleanup, and why Tamsoft wants you on a pad.

Steam English notes: the Performance mode game setting enables gameplay at 1080p/60fps. 1080p/30fps gameplay is possible with the Intel i5-9600K / AMD Ryzen 5-3600 XT CPUs, 8GB RAM and NVIDIA GTX 970 (4 GB) / AMD Radeon RX 570 (4 GB) GPUs. Treat 1080p/30 as a fallback, not the published minimum. The minimum row is 16 GB of RAM and the 1650 Super / 5600 XT class.

Steam English notes: the Balanced mode game setting enables gameplay at 1080p/60fps. Framerate might drop in graphics-intensive scenes. Windows 10 (Version 1809 or later) and a 4GB VRAM GPU (graphics board or video card) are required for DirectX 12 API. RAM stays at 16 GB on both rows; spend upgrades on the GPU. If you are on an older Windows 10 build, update before install. Super-shot scenes are where Balanced mode dips; drop to Performance mode rather than chasing 4K.

Easy Anti-Cheat, Deck, achievements

The Steam build uses Easy Anti-Cheat at kernel level. Steam says the anti-cheat requires manual removal after you uninstall. You also accept a third-party EULA on first launch. Kernel-level software is the trade-off for ranked versus on PC.

Steam Deck compatibility is Unsupported. Buy Switch if you want a handheld SKU. Steam lists 34 achievements, Steam Cloud, and Family Sharing. None of those change the CPU table or the 22 GB storage line.

Controller support

Steam lists partial controller support and Xbox controllers. The developers recommend playing this game with a controller. Super Moves, dash cancels, and keeper duels are built around face buttons and triggers. Keyboard works; it is the worse default. If your pad is not an Xbox layout, remap in Windows or Steam Input. A wired Xbox pad is the least surprising option on PC.
