Captain Tsubasa 2: World Fighters Unlockables Guide

Captain Tsubasa 2: World Fighters hides most of its lasting content behind Story Mode, New Stars, SIDE/LINK threads, Rival Episodes, and Collection — not behind redeem codes. Japanese consoles launched on 27 August 2026; worldwide and Steam launched on 28 August 2026. If you searched for codes, read the codes hub first, then use this page as the real unlock map.

Teams

More than 110 playable characters sit across 22 national teams plus club and school sides. Many teams start locked. Progress through World Youth episodes and tournament brackets to open them for Versus. The trophy “World-Renowned Powerhouses” is the “unlocked all teams” flag on achievements.

Brazil Youth is the early-unlock exception. Buyers who claimed the launch / pre-order early-unlock pack can use Brazil Youth immediately in versus-style modes. Everyone else earns it by progressing. The same is true for the two Moete Hero arranged BGM tracks. Those early unlocks do not replace Story meetings with Brazil; they only skip the wait for the playable side. Cinematics, Collection, and music

Story Mode unlocks in-game cinematics as you clear episodes. “Page One of a Pitched Battle” is the first cinematic unlock; “Chronicle of a Fierce Fight” is unlock-all-cinematics. Collection stores movies and music for later viewing. Launch-bonus Moete Hero arrangements appear in Collection if you own them.

SIDE/LINK conversations and Rival Episodes expand the script without always being full matches. Trophy names such as “Living That Soccer Life!” and “Countless Stories” point at viewing Link Stories and Side Scenarios. Route order for Legendary, Advanced, and Rival paths lives on the story walkthrough. Menu locations are on game modes.

New Stars and Team Edit unlocks

A custom Japan Youth player in New Stars unlocks bonds and signature moves as you clear that route. “Your Skill Is Mine!” tracks changing a custom player’s moves. Team Edit lets you build dream elevens after enough roster unlocks — it is not a second Story, and it does not grant online “any eleven you want” ranked freedom. Shop purchases with earned currency unlock cosmetics. “Purchased an item at the Shop” is its own trophy. That till is separate from the paid Season Pass Character Packs scheduled through August 2027.

Mechanic unlocks and trophy mirrors

Many bronze trophies simply ask you to perform the match language once outside Practice: first goal after the prologue, aerial shot, Super Shot, Super Dribble, Super Tackle, Super Pass, Super Block, Miracle Team Move, Miracle Save, perfect keeper save, overtime win, hat-trick with one player, max teamwork, and destroyed stadium equipment with a shot. Situation Practice has its own first-clear and all-clear trophies. Finish those drills if you want the Practice set without grinding online.

What will not unlock from a code

There are no active redeem codes on the active codes page. Deluxe and Ultimate are store entitlements. Day-one stability patches are free updates on patch notes, not unlock keys. If a Deluxe pack is missing after purchase, verify the store library and contact Bandai from the wiki links page.

Play Story, clear Collection, and finish New Stars when you want the roster and movies. Use Versus when you want human matches — not when you want every cinematic.
